Train
BASICS
Midway is located eight miles (13 km) southwest of downtown Chicago. The airport's Web site has both a terminal map and an area map.
TAXI
Metered taxis are available just outside the baggage-claim area. Fare to The Loop will be $15 to $25 and will take 10 to 20 minutes.
TRAIN
The CTA Orange Line runs from Midway to The Loop. The fare is $1.50 and the trip takes 30 minutes.
BUS
Continental Airport Express provides service from Midway to downtown. The fare is $10.75 and the trip will take 15 to 25 minutes. Purchase a ticket at the booth in the baggage-claim area — the buses depart from just outside.
RENTAL CAR
All major rental car companies have offices in the airport and downtown.
